I'm not complainig...no.... but I havent cleared the code from the last time...it registered the fault the manditory 5 times.....confused.....Also I dont see any smoke coming out of the little exhaust ????Would it kick in if it wasnt able to burn the diesel and do its thing ???I havent looked to see if Vag com brings anything up.... seatkid Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Deja vu? This post looks familiar.... :) I take with a pinch of salt this alleged "stops working after 5 attempts", as mine tried five times one morning and I thought O bother... but a couple of days later....tick....tick..tick.tick..woosh,...houston,we have ignition....;) I would think the only intelligence it has is a thermostat.... I dont see any smoke coming out of the little exhaust ????They complain when they see it, now they complain when they don't..... Quote
Another?Maybe! Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Put your hand on it, if it's hot, it's working!! And if it stinks it's working! Quote
GSMGuy Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Seatkid - it only locks out after getting 5 errors from the heater - ie, flame out, overheat, no glowplug, or no blower etc.. Paul - Maybe a good old jolt in the road has freed yours? Did you ever get round to stripping it fully down? Mike Quote
paulmpaciorek Posted February 23, 2005 Author Report Posted February 23, 2005 Mike I never got round to stripping it and is it appears to be working......so I will leave it for now !!! Quote
